Release date: When It’s Done!

Bad news/good news: My right hand sucks right now! It started sucking in late December and it hasn’t stopped. I’m waiting on Carpal Tunnel Revenge Surgery. Last year when I had a big flareup and couldn’t draw, I made Potion Stand Story. So while I wait to have a working right hand again, I’ve been using my left hand to give the game a huge overhaul. I know so much more about Ren’py than I did a year ago, and I have so many more other tools under my belt.

A small sample of the changelog so far:
-Many UI improvements, including a total overhaul of the shop interface
-Upgraded visuals pretty much across the board. Animations, graphics for things that previously didn’t have them, etc…. I redid all the backgrounds to make them more consistent and fit better with the UI… i’ve… got… a nearing-70-page sketchbook file in CSP with just the graphics i’ve made for this update dlfjkghfdsj -Some small additions to the story– mostly just corner-rounding right now (anything could happen though. I’ve been known to cause trouble)
-More than one new Elly model
-Total overhaul of the Gallery and CGs for endings that previously didn’t have them
-Bug fixes
-Probably some new bugs to replace the ones I fixed

Wait, so what is it? Is it a remake? Is it a remaster? Is it a sequel? It’s a remaster with extra bells and whistles. This will be a new, paid version of the original game (probably for a pretty low pricetag) but the free version will remain accessible. I’m doing some stuff I didn’t have the time or know-how to do on the first round. I think if you’ve played and liked the original version, you will have a rewarding experience revisiting it. :)
