You and your friend Elly are finally going to WitchCon, for sure this year! There's just one problem... you're both totally broke witches, and it's going to take at least 4000G to pay for the tickets. (And transportation. And an inn room. And food.) Not to worry, though, Elly has a plan: set up shop outside the local dungeon and sell healing potions to passing adventurers. Through hard work, patience, and friendship, surely a couple of scrappy spellcasters like yourselves can turn 100 gold into enough cash to buy your tickets!

This is a free game, but if you like it enough that you wish you could pay me for it, you can buy the PDF artbook. ;)

I made this game to learn ins and outs of Ren'py before starting on larger projects. It was supposed to just be a simple fantasy-themed re-imagining of the classic Apple II game Lemonade Stand with visual novel elements, and then things got out of hand. Now it's a fantasy-themed visual novel game with Lemonade Stand elements. See if you can get all the endings! ✧ Hints can be found in the Endings menu.

✪ Playtime: About 45 minutes for your first playthrough, 2-3 hours to see all the endings.

✪ How To Play
Click "Help" in the main menu to see controls.
Potions sell for 10G. Each day, you'll get a chance to stop by the store in the morning and buy ingredients.  Once you get to your potion stand, decide how many potions you would like to brew based on the intel from passing adventurers.
At the end of each day (and each week), Elly will assess your sales performance.
If you make a mistake, it can usually be un-done by scrolling the mouse wheel up.
On replays, you can skip seen text by using the "skip" button in the quick menu at the bottom of the screen, or hold ctrl to fast forward.

Click to show the Advanced Gameplay Guide (spoils mechanics, but not story! rec'd only if you're really struggling.)

Each day, the monsters will be "sleepy," "aggressive," or "bloodthirsty."

Early on, you'll want to be turning as much gold as you can into more materials so that you can take maximum advantage of good sales days. Don't forget: you get unused bottles back, and you can undo mistakes and misclicks by scrolling up with the scroll wheel.

SLEEPY DAYS: If you make 20 potions or less, you'll always sell out. If you make more than 20 potions, you still have a low chance of selling out, and a much higher chance of selling either 25% or 50% of your potions.

AGGRESSIVE DAYS: The purest dice roll day. No matter how many potions you put up for sale, you have a pretty equal chance of having either bad sales, good sales, or selling completely out. If you already have a lot of money and plenty of time left, it's worth it to sell the max number of potions on these days. If you're coming up on day 21 and still too short, you might want to meet it halfway and sell ~50 potions.

BLOODTHIRSTY DAYS: These days are your money makers. You can easily turn 100G into 1000G on Bloodthirsty days. It's a 50/50 chance of either selling completely out, or selling 85% of what you made, so you should try to make as many potions as you can on these days.

FRIDAY THE 13TH: If you have less than 10 bottles in your inventory (after brewing potions) you have nothing to worry about, but if you have more than that, some will break!

I stumbled across this game from my purchased bundle list and was instantly pulled in by the disclaimer.. after some pondering i really have to question it tough as a healing potion costs 10G, which is roughly 7 lemons.. which means that a healing potion that can heal all sorts of injuries is worth the same as 7 citruses or 5 phoenix tears hmmm.. we definetly need an epilogue that explains the economics of the potion stand story verse (i agree with the disclaimer's sentiment just thought it funny and strange that one witch con ticket is worth more then 100 healing potions and more then 270 potions at the production price... where even Pot & Ladle might be gauging customers for money 🤔..)

(also Mx developer if the player realizes the strategy to get the coins necessary for Witch-con there's still a (1/3)^20 % chance that they get a roll of 20 monsters sleeping 😂 (in few billion years there'll be a human that didn't get to enjoy the satisfaction of figuring out the strategy for B ending even knowing the rough probabilities of created:sold potions) also if developing cross-platform linux testing can be done from a liveboot or a small VM..)

❤️ xD

Amazing, cute little game that’s bound to keep you entertained. The quirky dialogue and charming art style make every interaction delightful. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a few chuckles in an afternoon!

Linux version work. Also lot of people liked your preemptive trigger warning https://snug.moe/notes/9v6dray5uktszee7 ^^’

This game is incredibly cute and worth the play. I played it on stream, and I'm not going to lie cried a little bit because of the good friend ending.

OMG!! if there's a recording of the stream i'd love to see it :'D glad you enjoyed it so much!!

Discovered your game through the Queer Games Bundle and so glad I did! The gameplay is fun and the banter is on point. I loved Elly, but the comments hyping the endings where you don’t sell convinced me to go for them - and I’m so glad I did, even if I made Elly sad.

YAAAAAYYY! i'm so glad you liked it and got to see all my favorite stuff ;D

Played it straight and found it very cute.
Went back for more endings, do not miss out on where other endings go. Got a real cackle out of me.

TEEHEEEEE i'm replying to this comment real late but a cackle is an especially high compliment for a game about witches i think, thank u

Cute, and must have been fun to write for! It wasn't intuitive to me that the number of potions sold would be based on the number of potions available for sale (as a percentage), so I fell far short of the goal, but at least I tried for candles.

Thanks for the feedback!! The mechanics are definitely a little mysterious... this got me thinking about how to give hints/nudges in the right direction in future versions.

The writing was definitely the most fun part ;D

I managed to 100% it! Totally worth it, and some of those endings really surprised me... and gave me a good laugh right at the end of the final ending. And this adorable story was exactly what I needed to decompress between bigger games :3

HEHE... glad to hear you enjoyed it and that the final ending paid off as intended... thank you for being a good friend to Elly ;D

This was SO cute! Just finished my first playthrough and got Ending B. Elly is such a fun character to hang around, I really enjoyed her dialogue. It helped make the game feel all cozy. After looking at the hints, I wanna go back and try to see what happens in the other endings now...

Congrats on succeeding on your first try!! I declare you GOOD AT BUSINESS.  ( ' v ')b

I hope you enjoy the other endings too! >:3c

Dear person who comes down to the comments to see if they should get a game: get this game! It's very cute and funny and might make you cry a little if you're a dingus like me.

making someone cry a little with my video game is THE HIGHEST HONOR I COULD POSSIBLY RECEIVE TBH!!

Seconded! Every day of the story has unique dialogue and it's all so incredibly sweet and charming.

Elly is so charming! Great art and great story. And I love the ending that I got (A2) - I failed and it was okay, which was really what I needed to hear.

i'm so glad you enjoyed it!! i poured some Real Feelings into that ending (and all of them, tbh). thanks so much for playing <3

Oh no, it's sold out :(

I'm sure Elly will have it back in stock soon enough ;D
